Kero-Del is a locally owned and independently operated fuel provider that has been serving homeowners and businesses across Central Maryland since 1986. Built on a commitment to dependable, personalized service, the company has grown from a small operation into a trusted full-service energy provider with thousands of customers throughout Anne Arundel County and surrounding areas.
The Story Behind Our Company
Kero-Del was conceived in the winter of 1985 when the president, Chip Brosseau, became frustrated that no fuel company would deliver 50 gallon quantities of kerosene to his home for his space heaters. Standing shivering in line at gas stations (with multiple 5-gallon cans in hand) he began talking with others who would be willing to pay a premium for home delivery.
Armed with this idea, a $1000 loan from “Mom’s Finance Co.”, and a prayer, Kero-Del was born in October of 1986.
A 1964 tank truck was resurrected and put on the street to make the first deliveries in February of 1987, with Chip acting as driver, mechanic, secretary, dispatcher, mechanic, mechanic, mechanic….
In addition to Kerosene, our product line has expanded to include ULTRA LS® Heating Oil, Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel, plus a complete in-house Heating and Air Conditioning Service Department.
The road has led us to a successful and growing company, supported by dedicated employees, dependable service and oil fleet, and the trust of thousands of loyal customers – and growing!
