Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know how much oil is left in my tank?
Most heating oil tanks are equipped with a gauge located on top of the tank that indicates the fuel level. A full tank will read “F,” while lower levels are marked in fractions such as 3/4, 1/2, or 1/4. If you’re unsure how to read your gauge or suspect it may not be working properly, our team can help assess your tank and recommend the best delivery schedule.
What is automatic delivery vs. will-call?
Automatic Delivery means we monitor your fuel usage based on factors such as weather conditions, past consumption, and tank size, and schedule deliveries before you run low on fuel. This option offers convenience and peace of mind.
Will-Call Delivery puts you in control of scheduling deliveries. You’ll need to monitor your tank level and contact us when you’re ready for a refill. We recommend calling when your tank reaches approximately one-quarter full to avoid running out of fuel.
What is your minimum delivery amount?
Our minimum delivery amount varies based on your location and current market conditions. Please contact us for the most up-to-date minimum delivery requirements and pricing. We’ll be happy to discuss the best options for your home or business.
How often should I schedule annual maintenance?
We recommend scheduling heating system maintenance once a year, ideally before the start of the heating season. Annual tune-ups help improve efficiency, reduce the risk of unexpected breakdowns, extend equipment life, and ensure your system operates safely throughout the winter.
